1. Forum members should post and email in a respectful manner. Harassing, abusing, or being extremely negative towards other forum members (including the forum administrator) will result in a warning from the forum administrator or a member of the SSP Board of Directors.
2. Members are asked not to respond to abusive posts. Instead, immediately report any abusive or inappropriate posts to the forum administrator.
3. Members should post in a polite manner. Members avoid posting in all-caps or using excessive punctuation. This makes posts difficult to read and may also be perceived as "shouting" by other forum members.

6. Individuals and/or rescue groups may not use the forum to solicit donations. This includes using the forum’s private message and email features for solicitation purposes. This rule is to protect other forum members from the potential risk of fraud. The only group allowed to solicit funds on this forum is Saving Shelter Pets, Inc.
Note: Please consider sponsoring dogs & cats directly through shelters such as Columbiana, NEGAS, Heard, Murray, etc. By sponsoring dogs through a shelter or animal control facility, you know that your donation is going directly to the animals. It's a GREAT way to help encourage rescues, while knowing you are donating safely.
7. Members are asked to please refrain from posting any DNA/DNR/DNT reports until fully verified.
8. Members are asked to please refrain from sharing other forum members' personal information without prior consent.
CONSEQUENCES
1. Failure to adhere to the above outlined rules will result in a warning from the forum administrator or the SSP Board of Directors.
2. Members are allowed one warning before further action is taken.
3. After the second offense, the offending member will be banned from the forum.
4. Arguing with an administrator after receiving a warning will result in an immediate ban from the forum.
5. The forum administrator and SSP Board of Directors reserve the right to deny a member access to the forum without previous warnings if they feel it is appropriate.
